Satellite

Constellations, payloads and ground segment

We are developing this capability as part of a secure, intelligent orbital data network for the next generation of connected infrastructure.

Satellite

What we are building

From payload concept to routine operations: AIQSAT supports satellite missions with system design, constellation architecture and a ground segment built for continuous, automated data delivery.

Mission and payload design

Requirements, orbit selection and payload trade-offs matched to the data products you need.

Constellation architecture

Coverage, revisit and inter-satellite link concepts for small and mid-sized fleets.

Ground segment

Tasking, telemetry and automated processing chains that deliver data to your systems.

The opportunity

Move intelligence and trust closer to the source

Many space missions remain collections of isolated assets: sensors capture data, limited ground contacts retrieve it and separate systems decide what happens next. That architecture creates delay, underuses expensive hardware and makes resilience dependent on a small number of links.

AIQSAT is developing the satellite and network foundation for intelligent quantum missions. Our target is a modular platform where payload, onboard AI, secure communications and ground automation operate as one system and can evolve without redesigning every layer.

System architecture

A connected path from orbital signal to trusted decision

The project is designed as a modular system. Each layer can create value independently, while the complete architecture enables a secure, intelligent data network across orbit and Earth.

  1. 1Host

    Support advanced payloads

Power, thermal and mechanical interfaces are designed around demanding AI compute, photonics and quantum instruments.

  2. 2Point

    Maintain precision

Attitude control and fine steering create the stability required for high-resolution sensing and optical links.

  3. 3Connect

    Route through the constellation

Inter-satellite links provide alternative paths and move information toward the best available downlink.

  4. 4Operate

    Automate from the ground

Digital twins, tasking and telemetry workflows support repeatable operations and direct delivery into customer systems.

Strategic value

Built around the needs of future operators

AIQSAT is being shaped for organisations that need resilient infrastructure, faster access to useful information and a security model designed for the quantum era.

Mission owners

A coherent route from mission objective to an operable system, reducing integration gaps between payload, spacecraft and ground.

Constellation operators

Modular networking and automation designed to support resilience and operational scale beyond a single spacecraft.

Technology partners

Defined interfaces for integrating specialised sensors, optical terminals, processors and security products.

Buyers and investors

A platform strategy that can support mission programmes, recurring operations and capacity-based services.

Development path

A staged route from validation to deployment

The roadmap is structured to retire technical risk early, prove interoperability and create clear decision points for partners and capital providers.

Architecture

Mission and platform baseline

Translate priority applications into payload, orbit, power, thermal, pointing and communications requirements.

Engineering

Integrated digital twin

Validate performance and failure modes across spacecraft, network and ground operations before hardware commitment.

Demonstration

Pathfinder mission

Fly a focused payload and communications configuration to prove the integrated operating concept.

Scale

Constellation services

Standardise interfaces and expand coverage, capacity and redundancy through interoperable spacecraft.

Investment case

An infrastructure opportunity at the intersection of three markets

The project combines differentiated engineering, reusable intellectual property and a platform approach intended to support multiple missions, customers and commercial models.

Platform reuse

Common interfaces and operational software can shorten adaptation across payloads and customer missions.

Integrated advantage

Optimising spacecraft, links and intelligence together can unlock capabilities that component-by-component procurement cannot.

Expandable economics

Potential value spans mission engineering, hosted payloads, network capacity, operations and secure data delivery.

Build the next layer with us

A more efficient, resilient and secure future for orbital data.

We are seeking payload providers, operators, anchor customers and strategic investors to define and validate the first integrated AIQSAT mission architecture.
